You Earn Well, so Why Does Money Still Feel Stressful?
For women who earn well but feel anxious, embarrassed, or uncertain about their finances.
You have savings, a good income, even a pension, yet still don't feel confident about where you stand or whether it's really working for your future.
You’re not bad with money. You’re not behind. And you’re not alone.
A friendly, no pressure call to look at your money and what you need next.
Does this sound familiar?
• Day to day, life looks fine, but there’s a quiet worry about money in the background.
• You’re starting to think about the future and wondering if you’ll have enough.
• You avoid pensions or investments because they feel confusing.• You lie awake sometimes worrying about getting this wrong.
• You feel embarrassed asking questions you think you should already know.
• A relationship change has left you managing money alone.
None of this means you're bad with money. It just means you've been left to figure it out alone.
So what actually helps?
What most women need isn’t more information. It’s a clear, calm way to understand what they have, what it means, and what to focus on next, without jargon or judgement.
• Understanding what your money is doing and where it's going.
• Understanding what's in your pension, how it's invested, and whether it's performing as it should.
• Understanding savings and investing in simple, non-jargon language.• Knowing whether you’re on track for the future.
• Having a simple plan instead of constant worry.
How I help
I work privately with women to help them understand their money, pensions and investments in a clear, calm way.
There’s no judgement, no pressure, and no expectation to already know the answers.
This is about building confidence and control, not doing everything at once.
I spent over 25 years in banking and now I help women feel safe talking about money and getting back in control.
What you get....
• A calmer relationship with money and a clearer sense of where you stand.
• A simple long term approach you can stick with, without overwhelm.
• Less money anxiety, and more confidence about your financial future.
Who it's for:
Everyday professional women don't yet feel settled or confident with their money.
You want to build wealth without the stress, overthinking or quiet worry that you should be further ahead by now.
What happens on the call
This is a calm, private call. There’s no pressure, and no expectation that you have everything figured out.
We will:
• Talk through what's been worrying you about money.
• Gently look at what's coming in and going out, at a high level.
• Outline what the next steps could look like.
You don't need to prepare anything, and you won't be judged for past decisions or where you are right now.
You don't need to be 'into investing' to build wealth
Perhaps investing is something you put off because it felt complicated, or simply didn't feel like it was for you.
You might think you need:
• A finance background.
• Hours of research.
• To follow financial markets.
What's actually true...
Investing can be very simple once you understand the basics.
You don't need a finance background or hours of learning. We put a simple, structured approach in place together.
It's no more complicated than setting up a direct debit - once it's done, it quietly runs in the background.
This is something we can talk through calmly, when you're ready

'I finally feel confident about my financial future'
A bit about me...

Hi, I’m Fahmida.
I'm a financial coach, and I know how personal and uncomfortable money can feel.
I didn’t grow up talking about money. We weren’t a 'let’s discuss pensions and investments' family. The message was more: work hard, be careful, don’t get it wrong.
So when I studied economics, qualified as an accountant, and built a long career in banking, it probably looked like I had everything figured out.
On paper, I did. In real life, money still felt complicated.
I’ve lived through moments where security felt fragile, even with experience and knowledge.
Like many people, life didn’t unfold neatly. I went through relationship breakups where finances became tangled and stressful to unravel. I’ve felt the quiet anxiety about money that no one else could see.
During the financial crisis, I the bank I worked for went into administration and i lsot my job. At the same time, property investments I had relied on for my future also failed. Even with careful due diligence, the companies behind them collapsed, and I lost all the money I had invested.
There was a period where I was genuinely worried about losing my home. I didn’t have a family safety net to fall back on, and I didn’t tell my family how anxious I felt. I just carried on quietly. Something I now know many women do.
In May 2014, my father was diagnosed with cancer. Later that year, he was in hospital after a stroke and died in December. Even when you know what’s coming, nothing really prepares you for the inevitable. It was a powerful reminder of how fragile life and security can be.
Today, I help professional women who are doing well day to day but feel uneasy about money. Unsure about pensions. Unsure about investing. Quietly worried about the future.
Not because they’ve failed.
But because no one ever taught them how to make money feel calm, understandable, and under control.
I know how vulnerable this can feel, because I’ve lived it.
